Day 0:  Here we are at Washington-Dulles Airport in Virginia awaiting our flight to Entebbe, Uganda. Today I fly with 3 Wilkes Pharmacy students in their last year of the Doctor of Pharmacy Program.  They are looking forward to their graduation only a few weeks after this Global Health Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiential rotation is over.  Joining us, is Stacy, a Wilkes Pharmacy Alumni-2014, who is currently participating in year 1 of her post graduate training but will be specializing in Oncology and Hematology, the treatment of cancer and blood disorders, during a year 2 Residency in Utah starting in July.

We are happy to be expecting another participant to join us next Friday, Hanna, who is also a Pharmacy Resident but at a medical center in Indiana.

Well, they are calling for boarding so off we go.  Stay tuned for more news and adventures as we hope you come along with us on this safari (the swahili word for journey) through the words and images of all the participants.  Thanks to all those who have and continue to support the students and me on this quest.  Without you, none of this would be possible.  More later…
