Hello everyone! My name is Hanna and I am currently living in South Bend, Indiana while I complete my PGY1 residency (and eventually my PGY2) in ambulatory care pharmacy at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. I am originally from Dubuque, Iowa but I also have a lot of family in the Cleveland area so it’s nice to be in Indiana which is right in the middle of the two.

I went to pharmacy school at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling (especially traveling). I have been fortunate enough to participate in two prior medical trips, one to Honduras for 1 week and another to Belize for 4 weeks. I have also traveled to several countries in Europe (my favorites were Italy and Ireland) and have vacationed in Mexico.RaberPic1

My two big pharmacy passions are ambulatory care and global health. Down the road I would really like to work for a college of pharmacy and help develop international experiential sites for pharmacy students. So I am of course thrilled about this opportunity to travel to Uganda with everyone from Wilkes. I am really hoping to learn more about site development and precepting along with all the clinical and cultural knowledge!IMG_0764-Hanna
