Over the next few posts I will be introducing you to the Pharmacy Students who will be participating in this Global Health experiential rotation to Uganda.
My name is Nick, and I am a P4 (4th professional year) pharmacy student at Wilkes University. My pharmacy interests include public and global health as well as pharmacy informatics, and I have previously participated in two medical mission trips to Guatemala. Upon graduation, I am hoping to obtain an Indian Health Service PGY1 pharmacy practice residency with the United States Public Health Service. I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy hiking, skiing, camping, and caving. My family and friends are very important to me. I like traveling and learning about other cultures, and I am excited to experience Uganda. This trip is an incredible opportunity that I am very happy to be a part of.
